VISION STATEMENT
Ineza Foundation believes every child, youth, and woman can live in a supportive, vibrant, literate and healthy community. We believe equal access to universal education and life-skills are essential to building this kind of Community.
KEY PILLARS
Ineza Foundation’s programs and services are explained in the next four key pillars of the organization:
EDUCATION
Literacy – Promoting leisure reading through establishing Community Libraries and Children Reading Corners. We receive new donated books and distribute them to partners across Rwanda. We train community librarians and teachers in library management.
We host Outreach Events: -Reading Competitions, Reading Camps/Clubs, International Literacy Day, and other literacy promotional approaches to promote a vibrant reading and writing culture.
We enforce a Literacy Capacity Building template over Ineza Community Library Centers’ holistic model of joining a library with a community ECD for early literacy programs, alongside youth and women capacity building platforms.
Eary Children Development Interventions: We recognize the importance of Early Child Development (ECD); therefore, we equip Home Based and Community ECDs with educational materials and train ECD caregivers on child development stages, nutrition, WASH, child protection, parental education, and practical early literacy methods. Two Ineza Community ECD Centers in Jabana and Gasabo District, Kigali City, and Shyorongi in Rulindo District, serving the community.
